We don’t need you to be Pep Guardiola, we don’t even need you to know who that is! No football knowledge is required for most of our volunteering positions.
What we do need is committed people who want to help the club and our players.
It would be impossible to run a not-for-profit grassroots football club without our amazing volunteers, but we are growing and we need more help.
We are currently looking for:
⚽️ Managers
⚽️ Assistant Managers
⚽️ Welfare Officers
⚽️ Welfare Assistants
⚽️ Social Media Champion
⚽️ Mini Rangers Coordinator
⚽️ Events & Fundraising Coordinators
⚽️ General Committee Members
If you’d like to know more about being an LPR volunteer, please contact the committee at: committee@leightonparkrangers.com

Once you’ve agreed a role with LPR FC you’ll need to know/ recover or create a FAN (Football Association Number).
If you have ever played league football or purchased England tickets you are likely to have one. It is best to check if you do already have one, creating multiple FANs can cause problems with issuing certificates further down the line.
To recover a FAN number or create one follow this link: https://secure.thefa.com/fan/retrievefandetails.aspx
Fill out the Safer Recruitment Form on the website below (this requires a FAN number)
Following receipt of your Safer Recruitment Form our Welfare team will be in touch to process your DBS Check.
If you are volunteering in a capacity that interacts with players you will need to complete the Safeguarding Children Course (all online via the link below)

If you are volunteering with Safeguarding and Welfare you will need to complete the Welfare Officers Course here: https://thebootroom.thefa.com/learning/qualifications/welfare-officers-course
