WHAT PEOPLE SAY

The team is fantastically well run, with Richard managing and Paul, Darren and Steve supporting him.
The ethos is about playing correctly and not winning at all costs.
Couldn’t be happier with the set up

It was lovely to be able to tell the mum of a new to the club boy in the other team how encouraging and dedicated Sharks coaches are. The boys are lucky to have you Adam  and Rich. Thanks for all you do.

Very good coach, we are blessed to have him, my son is always looking forward to going. Thank you.

The club is well run and they always do their best for kids. 5/5 Stars!

Excellent, friendly, and well committed team. Can’t fault one bit.

Great club. Well run and the boys all enjoy playing for LPR! 5 Stars

A very well run club with my sons interests totally at heart. Very friendly and no pressure to become a superstar player. Would recommend LPR to any child that likes football.

Part of the club from 5 years. We love our team! Great club! Lots of activities to be involved with and a lot of fun during events like race night, presentation night etc

CLUB HISTORY

Leighton Park Rangers F.C. was founded in 2010 by a group of parents who wanted their children to enjoy playing football and be part of a family orientated club. The club started with 3 teams playing in local leagues based at Vandyke Fields and older age groups playing at local schools.
In July 2015, Leighton Park Rangers were the first club to move to the newly established Astral Park facility. The club made this its home ground for all playing age groups as well as a venue for its fundraising and social events.

In 2015 club went through some dramatic changes with two of its older teams folding, leaving the club teetering on the edge of extinction. However, with the election of Nick Pinder as our Chairman and new committee members, the club has resurrected itself with a new lease of life including new teams at various age groups from under 7’s to under 13’s, a regular mini soccer commitment.

In 2015, the club secured its first club sponsorship and this is a model that the club has pursued this season. This Sponsorship is vital in securing new equipment and kit for the children, as well as some perks for the parents/guardians! We will continue to look for new sponsors as this helps to keep club subscriptions as low as possible for all the members.

In 2018 the club launched it’s own website with online signing-on capability becoming a ‘paperless’ club.

2019 saw the club update it’s badge from a traditional shield to a more modern buzzard’s head icon.

Leighton Park Rangers F.C. now has 11 teams playing for the club and in 2020 the committee grew to it’s largest ever with 11 committed volunteers taking up positions to continue to improve and push the club forwards.

We pride ourselves on giving all of its members as much as we can afford.
LPR has always been a family club, run for the children and their love of the sport. This is LPR’s value and we will not defer from this.
